Here is a simple definition of the Foundation's name "Na Rahn."

Dear friends,
Fall is here! There’s a chill in the air, and the leaves are turning beautiful shades of red and yellow. What a lovely time of year! We hope you’re enjoying the autumn scenery as much as we are.
As a newly established nonprofit organization, one of our biggest challenges is raising awareness of our Reduce, Reuse, and Redistribution Program. To help spread the word, we recently launched our first awareness campaign! Our volunteer Matt has been busy putting up flyers around the neighborhood and on the university campus. Thanks to his great work, we’ve already put up around 100 flyers. A big shout-out to Matt!
We hope that as more people learn about our program, more usable items can be kept out of landfills and redistributed to those in need. Together, we can help build a more sustainable and caring local community.
Of course, running this program also comes with some practical challenges. Right now, our biggest limitation is transportation. Without a car, we carry out the Foundation’s work on foot or by bike. This means we currently have to limit donation pickups to the Hill area. We’re even planning to use a hand-pulled wagon to transport donations!
As our program grows, we hope to acquire a used car to make collecting and distributing donations more efficient and allow us to reach more people. We’ve applied for a grant from the City of Boulder to help fund this purchase, and we sincerely hope to receive this much-needed support.
Thank you for being part of the solution! Every flyer shared, item donated, and act of support brings us one step closer to our goal. We’ll keep you posted on our progress as the Foundation continues to grow.
Warmly,
The Foundation Team
